Call for Applications

Would you like to help lead GBTA in Europe? We are recruiting three new members for the GBTA Europe Advisory Board.

The GBTA Europe Advisory Board provides strategic guidance and support to GBTA’s activities and development in the region. The Board strives to represent the European membership base and includes the following:

The requirements:

• 2 Buyer
• 1 Supplier

We are looking for applications ideally from Austria; Nordics or Spain

The process:

1. Call for applications – closes 30 November
2. Shortlisting; interview and selection of candidates – complete by 24 December
3. Board members appointed by 31 January

Shortlisting and interviewing will be conducted by a quorum to include:

• Chair of Advisory Board
• GBTA Global Board of Directors Regional Direct Seat (Buyer)
• Buyer member of Advisory Board
• Supplier member of Advisory Board
• Buyer committee representative
• Supplier committee representative.

Candidates will be scored according to:

• Volunteer record – evidence of committee work/prior Board experience
• Level of industry knowledge
• Strategic vision for GBTA Europe and role of Board
• Employer support

Weighting will be given to Geographic location.
