We are taking the conference to Brussels for the first time and we want you to be there. We have been working with Eurostar and we are delighted to let you know that they can offer buyers attending the GBTA Conference 2022 – Brussels in Partnership with VDR, travel to and from Brussels in a business premier carriage. (Spaces are limited.)

The carriage will be exclusive to GBTA delegates departing London St Pancras on 8 November at 09:01 arriving in Brussels at 12:05. On the 10 November, Eurostar will depart Brussels at 17:56 arriving in London at 18:57 or 18:52 arriving at 19:57.

Carrefour des Échanges Travel & MICE – 24 November

During this "Carrefour des Échanges Travel & MICE par GBTA", participants will share their experiences and best practices around two topics:

• Travel & MICE procurement: how make savings in an inflationary environment?
• In-house or outsourcing? Advantages, disadvantages, risks. How to keep control on the global strategy?

The format will be interactive. The first part will consist of discussions between buyers and suppliers in 2 separate rooms, followed by a debriefing and more exchanges with all the participants.

The event will be held on 24 November from 2pm to 7pm, at the Espace COMET Bourse in Paris.

The Big Idea: Travel and The Law of Attraction in Brussels | 9 November

Taking care of business means taking care of talent. But talent is hard to come by, and even harder to attract when an industry loses its lustre. How do we make travel sexy again? How do we make it a reason people want to work and travel for an organisation, or indeed join the industry itself?

This year’s Big Idea at GBTA Conference 2022 Brussels in Partnership with VDR will address this existential issue - shifting the perception of travel to the benefit of corporates, travellers and our entire industry.

Table discussions will explore the tools to support this image shift; including D&I, modern technologies, traveler well-being, and sustainability.

Morning Running Tour of Brussels | 9 November

Go! Running Tours are delighted to invite delegates of GBTA Conference 2022 Brussels in Partnership with VDR to join a morning running tour in Brussels starting directly from the Square – Brussels Convention Centre on Wednesday 9 November 2022 at 6.30 AM.

Lace-up and discover Brussels in a sustainable and healthy fashion with Go! Running Tours. Starting the Square, GBTA delegates will feel Brussels waking up, all the while your running guides will share historical and cultural insights of the city.

We run in two groups – one group run 5km and the other 7km – and stop along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to network and take in the local area – its fascinating history, its European vibe and some great running stretches through the local parks.
